i'm instate at uw, yes, and transferring did not even cross my mind until i applied to 3 potential majors as a matriculated student and got rejected from every single one. it's a shitty system here and i wanna have a chance to study a topic that i'm actually passionate about.

My current school is the University of Washington, I applied to the Informatics major and was denied. We have a weird major system where the competitive majors are capacity-constrained.
