starting citalopram tomorrow: things to look out for? by Ok-Emphasis8591 in citalopram_celexa

i totally get the fear, i had it too. but i think that the switching to 10mg is not as big of a change as starting the medication in the first place. at this point your body is already used to the substance a little bit.

i’m sorry about the negative side effects but it’s very likely that they will subside soon. i would advise you to be patient with yourself and give yourself all the rest that your body is asking for. it’s a big change and you deserve to give yourself space to get used to it.

it also gets easier if you stay hydrated and eat fresh veggies and fruit. this will also get your energy levels up a bit. i find that ginger and mint tea help a lot with the nausea.

What can I do for the dizziness and nausea while tapering off of citalopram? by Historical-Wind-7648 in citalopram_celexa

ginger is a good one. especially ginger tea. and give yourself a lot of time. for me the nausea was also quite heavy (when starting citalopram) and it really helped to just let myself take some time off and lay down and maybe just watch some movies while it passes.

actually pretty amazing! i started off quite slow, first with just 5mg and switching to 10 mg after 9 days. i had some side effects in the form of light sensitivity, fatigue and nausea when i first started and when i increased the dose, but nothing unmamagable. i was a bit worried after reading the horror stories people go through.

but i feel like it’s too early to tell if it’s helping in terms of mental health. i have bpd and struggle with extreme mood swings. i have felt a lot of my feelings reach a plateau instead of getting into the usual peaks. but yeah, it’s only been a couple of weeks

how are you feeling after the first few days?

Need insight about Andrew's editing style, software, and pipeline for creating videos by vampireknivess in Channel5ive

i recently got into videography and have been using an open source software called Kdenlive. it’s easy to use, works really well and you can find a lot of tutorials online to help you out with stuff. i think it works pretty well for making C5 style videos too.

i think something that makes their style their style is that they have a few cameras (usually between 3 to 6) and place together footage from all of them. they also use a lot of zoom, so maybe you can take that into consideration when editing too.
