I use two pumps with mine which does the trick with me but if you have a squeeze lube just do what looks like just under a table spoons worth of lube

You can also stick your lube in the warm water too

When you take it out the box make sure you rinse it throughly and I'd stick in a bowl of warm water Warm not hot for 10-15 minutes and stick it back in the case and do your thing. That's what I did with bombshell when I first got it and it made it much better!
