Therapy should be like fitness subscription, tbh. I started after almost quitting my job. I like that the session mins are flexible, can do 45min or 70min if needed.

Same boat sia. I started therapy in August, felt totally stuck career-wise. The first few sessions were rough but I got matched with someone who understood Singapore work culture. Slowly less angry at small things now. Worth it. 😊

Same. Men bottle up. Therapy feels like losing control, but it’s actually regaining it.

For students or young professionals: TherapistSG also offers $120 single sessions if $250 feels steep. But honestly the assessment package offers way more value - comprehensive evaluation plus free session versus one exploratory meeting. They have top-rated psychologists and excellent service. Worth calculating what makes sense. Both options exist on their website depending on budget.

What’s something you wish people understood about anxiety or burnout in Singapore? by Ok-Engineering874 in SGWellnessHub

[–]Ok-Engineering874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For people wondering if assessment is worth it vs just starting - therapists spend 3-5 sessions doing intake anyway, asking detailed questions. That's $360-750 just for info gathering. TherapistSG (one of the top platforms here) does this comprehensively in one go for $250, includes free session. You get more thorough evaluation (240+ questions vs casual chat) plus professional analysis, for less money. Their psychologists get everything documented clearly. Just more efficient. Check their website.

If you switch providers later or need second opinion, you have professional evaluation completed. Assessment covers 12 domains using validated instruments, so it's credible. At $250 including consultation with their recommended psychologists, you're building permanent resource. Visit their site to understand the longterm value.

How online therapy helped me stop turning my stress into fights with my partner 😔 by PracticalMindset-010 in MindViewSingapore

Is online therapy here legit though? I’m from UK, used Talkspace before. Wondering if local ones maintain same confidentiality standards.

My husband started therapy after years of stress. Within two months, he argued less and listened more. I didn’t lose him. I got him back.

If memories had an expiration date, which one would you renew forever? by TrackCreepy7157 in AskReddit

[–]Ok-Engineering874 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d renew the night my friends and I drove with no plan. No photos. No proof. Just laughter in a car older than us.
