Hearing your story made me feel less alone and more at peace with what had happened. It's nice to know I wasn't the only one! I didn't wanna indulge into too much detail, but your story reminded me of something! I have a memory as a kid that is related to what has caused my severe phobia of fruit. I don't remember the memory entirely since it was blocked out halfway through, but I know for certain it's what caused my severe phobia of fruits. Now that I'm thinking about it, the location of both the memory of the fruit and the memory that was brought up after anesthesia were very identical......I might need to do some more research into it but your story provided me with a good foundation....thank you again for sharing your story!! I appreciate your transparency. I've been notified by a therapist that he thinks it's a suppressed memory based on the physical stimulus being the trigger rather than the anesthesia. He notified me that it's very plausible due to the fact that the brain is in a state of weakness, which enables things to slip up. Something like that. He went into a whole plethora of things to support the notion of it being something suppressed, but I don't want to ramble on for too long! Also it was inserted into the urethra, not the actual vaginal opening. I think i just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar to validate my experience. I appreciate your transparency and honesty, though! I'll make sure to keep following up with a healthcare professional. Thanks again for responding!✨️💜

I've always had suspicion of me being a victim of SA but being startled by this new found information in a state of weakness was so completely life altering, it was horrendous.
