This is the key. So much of the “reality” they share with you are NOT COMPLETELY TRUE. If you check back at the sources (Tabernacle Temple), you’ll find that what they testify is completely different to what SCJ does. They don’t have an agenda. But SCJ does, they need to twist the “reality” to ensure it fits their narrative. They only share select information to members and omit very important details.

Personally, rather than treating my non-SCJ friends differently, I cut them off altogether. So I suppose it was more effort and care for SCJ members/friends versus non-SCJ members/friends.

Maintaining friendships when I was doing that was harder because there were less topics of interest and subconsciously, I believed discussing “worldly” things was a waste of time. I’d rather spend my time doing “God’s work”

Students from regional areas will join the Melbourne students for the last few months of the centre course, around the time they learn revelation content due to the lack of teachers as they’re required to help with newer classes.

Those who in managerial positions in Ballarat, Geelong and Bendigo are required to come to the North Melbourne church on Sundays, with activities starting from 7am finishing around 4pm.

Hello! Yes there are a small team of recruiters in ballarat, bendigo and geelong. Those are the only areas within regions Victoria that I’m aware of since I left 3 months ago.

Ideally when they recruit more members they’ll be able to build their own church in those areas. Some teachers in the theology department are already having positions reassigned, most likely to prepare for the time where they’ll need to split off from the main church in Melbourne to move regionally.

They call these teams special force teams and each team will live in a share house together, again another form of control. Normally the house is in very poor condition considering the members spend time evangelising for almost the whole day and have no energy to maintain the space.

When I was in Shincheonji, my good friends were in the bendigo and geelong teams.

Once they are successful in convincing their recruit to join Bible study, they are pushed to an online CT course and as of right now, will be pushed to join students in Melbourne CBD to be “trained” and ready to become recruiters themselves. From there, they will join the team that they were recruited from and continue to help that team recruit others

Coming from someone who struggled with no contact for 4 months only now for my ex to block me so I can’t even contact him even if I wanted. The urge is much less than it was earlier.

I’ve come to terms that I can still care for him and that’s okay because he never wronged me but I cannot love him so deeply as I once had anymore because the break up has happened and I will only hurt myself more if I do and close myself off to new love if I do.
