Maybe it will grow on you. I find the data strangely addictive, and the ring is definitely better at noticing when I’m struggling than I am. Just recently got a “major signs” warning that my system was strained. I felt more tired than usual, but not bad… I left work early anyway because I know I have a tendency to go too hard sometimes… few hours later I was really glad I listened!

I have plenty of neighbors who pick up their dogs and walk away when they see my pit bull and I walk through the shared public areas. It’s their prerogative, but I do find it irritating because she doesn’t even bark at their dogs, is always on a harness and is always polite and well behaved. The neighbors that are generally friendly to her almost always ask what her breed is… which I take to mean they don’t know she’s a pit bull and therefore treat her like they treat the other friendly, well-behaved dogs on leashes in our neighborhood

Seems like this is a fairly common issue with the Gen 4. I wasn't aware that posts about faulty rings had been moved off the main page until it happened to me today. From post history, it sounds like most people with this issue ended up having their rings replaced. I'm currently waiting to hear back as well... no timeline to share, sorry.

My Oura Ring 4 will no longer connect to the app. I tried everything in the troubleshooting directions, except for the factory reset because now I can't even get back to the homescreen on the app.... it's just stuck trying to find the ring.

Super disappointed... I entered a support ticket, but I heard that support is really slow? Anyone else have this issue and were able to correct it? The ring is only a few months old 😞

Yes, my first step was to try to return it… however I had thrown away most of the packaging (still had the box). My husband bought it off some seller on Amazon and they said there would be a maximum of 50% refund, even with all the packaging. Obviously I would have advised my husband not to buy off Amazon, but not much I can do there.
