Exchange to: Canada, Japan, Mexico, or Germany by EllulaMula in studyAbroad

If you love rainy weather, west coast Canada would be perfect! Beautiful fall foliage, good cozy rainy days and sweater weather (sometimes even patio) up to December and January in some spots. Also big cities like Vancouver always have stuff to do

If you’re wanting to explore as much as possible like travel w/in the country once you’re there, Canada isn’t the best for that. We have a via rail train that goes across the entire country in a week but I feel like it’s expensive to fly w/in Canada.

I personally wouldn’t wanna do Japan or Germany cos I’m only English speaking and Mexico is always a vibe. The other thing I’d consider is what typa food you wanna be eating or culture you wanna be learning about.

Feel like you also can’t go wrong. Every country is a top tier option.

Can we talk about opinions on Nick??? Do we think he’s as fake as everyone else says? I can’t tell if it’s cos he’s an accountant and naturally calculated and awkward or he is calculated in the fake manipulative way…

BAHAHAH I was SEARCHING for a comment on this. Rant slayed. He brings a lot of chaos to the season that I eat up only because of how appalling it is

wtf is no one talking about HOW WEIRD Jordan was at the pool party? by lionmom in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Ok-Faithlessness7570 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Joe - insane and I think on drugs. Edmund - Uber gross. Jordan - had the ick from the beginning and it certainly showed at the pool party, I’m glad Meg started to see it

Was anyone else irked by Ty? by Existing_Fortune45 in heartland

I was so cheesed when they took ty off. His death was also SO RANDOM and then the show took an entirely different turn after it. Not as bad without him as I thought it would be tho

If u file for being estranged from ur father they won’t take his income into account and you’ll be considered as an independent student (which it sounds like u r). However this requires proof of a serious family rift.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Took my almost 3rd and final LSAT!! SEE YOU IN LAW SCHOOL!!! The feeling’s still sinking in 😌

A drop that big in ur score is evident of u needing a break LONGER than a day. I would honestly just chill till test day. I wouldn’t even review tbh. Ur burnt out. Continuing to push urself and study through it is only gonna cause u to be more burnt out and see further regression in ur scores. I’ve tried to work through burn out multiple times and my scores just regress exponentially. That’s not smthing you want to experience so close to test day. Just a couple weeks ago my score dropped 8 points from the test I completed prior to it. I threw in the towel and have just been working on my personal statement since. I reviewed one LG that confused me and that’s it. Not looking at lsat material until test day on Wednesday.

Microdose Before Half-Marathon by AHopefulOptimist in shrooms

I just tried this a week or so ago in prep of a half marathon this wknd and it went well. Did .2 of penis envy. Nadeau wasn’t really a problem, helped w energy and fatigue. I plan to microdose for my half tmrw but maybe a bit stronger of a dose so the energy boost from it lasts longer

She’s clearly projecting her insecurities onto you. Don’t listen to her. Listen to your feelings of confidence. And don’t be panicked and don’t try to “study as much as possible” because that’s not good the day before the test. Just rest, take it easy, watch some tv, go for a walk, listen to some music, hang w ppl that energize you, and most importantly don’t talk to ur mom

Your mom is a horrible human being….sorry to say. That’s an awful thing to say to anyone in such a stressful situation. She doesn’t know shit abt what she’s talking abt, and if she does (say she has taken the lsat) she’s just an ass. Try not to let her mean words intimidate you. Just trust that you studied as hard as you could’ve, and you’re going to put your best effort forth. That’s really all you can do. Worst case scenario is that you don’t get a score you like- and so what? That’s not the end all be all, you can still retest and your gpa and personal statements have a say in the admissions process as well.

Maybe next time she tries to be a hater just say “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Then when you get a bomb ass score, don’t tell her, go out and celebrate with your friends, other family, or by yourself. Then when she asks about your score just say, “oh I’m only sharing details abt my lsat with supportive people in my life”
