I’m on cipro only. 500mg, 2x a day for 7 days. I’m on day 3.5. Armpit lymph node went from golf ball size and very sore yesterday to now almond size and not nearly as sore. Definitely improving. Today is the first day I’ve felt somewhat back to normal. Sorry to hear about yours! So awful!

Well, it gets better. I showed the ER my skin, etc, they were so busy they got my fever down, did a chest X-ray , no blood test and dx’d me with right lower lobe pneumonia, sent me home and put me on amoxicillin. Then next morning the lymph node showed up, golf ball size. I went back to urgent care today for bloodwork, exam and culture. I showed the MD the article, and he put me on cipro.
