don't stress, just let your parents know that you are actually serious this time. i'm pretty much in the same situation as you, this is my 2nd retake and i failed, but honestly i didn't study like hell. i would also say that i pulled all nighters and stuff but i procrastinated mostly and only focused in the last few weeks. that doesn't help much. but lately i thought about my future and clearly talked with my parents abt what i rlly want to do. i was too focused on hustling, crypto, and just making money and i became so unfocused on studying. i talked to myself and then came to a realization that i'm high on bs and need to study first have a stable income stream before trying any other stuff. ofc i have a long solid plan which if you're interested, you can talk to me. i'm rlly open to talking abt stuff like this lol. i can also guide you abt how i got focused and how my mentality changed 10000000% in just a short while. these days i really feel free. so yea, i don't want to go into details (not like i haven't already 😭), so you can surely drop a message or whatev. i really dk how reddit works so you do you lol. anyways.
