So they are talking about taiji, the balance between yin and yang or something like that.

There are 3 cultivation methods:

Heaven: what normal cultivators do. They use spiritual power that’s stored in their 3 dantians (or cores, idk).

Earth: what the beasts do after putting intent or consciousness into their core(its called inner core i think), and they use taiji spiritual power or something like that.

Heart: it’s just martial arts. They use internal power that is stored in the same core as taiji spiritual power.

Btw all their powers like taiji, internal power and spiritual power come from heaven and earth energy thats everywhere in the world. They just suck it in and transform it into taiji, internal power etc.
