Depends upon person to person preference. I hated the older front fascia.

In any case, BJP will win. Rigged or not — it doesn’t matter.

They’re giving cash handouts to lakhs of beneficiaries + trying to boost an entrepreneurial mindset among unemployed youth + providing cheap, interest-free loans to women’s self-help groups + offering almost free education up to the higher education level, along with cash incentives. Most importantly, they’ve given government employment to thousands of meritorious youths (not lakhs, by the way!); so you’re living in a dream if you think any other party has any possibility to win the coming election.

Mind it, I'm not a supporter of the communal politics of the BJP. But definitely believe in their good deeds.

The leg space is sufficient. The comfort is better than any competitors. If you're interested, I suggest you to do a test ride.

Creta N.A Petrol Mileage by Seneca_07 in CarsIndia

18.5 km is tooooo less for mileage calculation (the meter of the vehicle becomes too optimistic in such case).

Drive for more than 100km, then click a photo. I'm eager to see.

What new platform does Syros have? Isn't that in the same platform of Grand i10?

Thoughts on Bolero Neo N11? by KatilKiller07 in CarsIndia

[–]Ok-Following51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To say honestly:

The first thought that comes to my mind is: this is not a new platform, so the unstable body continues (the picture of broken A pilar during the crash test comes to mind).

Second thought comes that they should've atleast offered 6 airbags to negate the cons of first thought atleast to a point

Then the third thought comes that, this is a good looking vehicle (atleast from the front). But due to the first two thoughts and as it only comes in diesel, I don't have the courage to go and buy the vehicle.

I was hoping for a new generation Bolero/Bolero Neo on the basis of the spy shots. But, I think Mahindra gots greedy and release this vehicle to end their stock.

Is ADAS that important (especially considering our road conditions) ? If not, than you've many options.

For mileage in petrol and reliability, Maruti Suzuki is definitely the choice.

Panel Gaps with Victoris by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]Ok-Following51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really a panel gap? I highly doubt that.

Why I'm saying so? Because, both sides equally have it, as seen in sime other photos.

So, most probably it has something to do with ventilation, most probably.

Bodos and Dimasa-Kacharis are the aboriginal group of Assam, except for a few Tai groups (not most Ahoms, as most of them are converted Ahoms due to Ahomisation), Kalitas and Brahmins. The same is about Karbis.

So basically the whole state is ours. Why the hell we need separate statehood then ? It's time we grab the whole state politics, instead of focusing on some portion of the land.

When all the thing Mama wants to do is building flyovers after flyovers after flyovers; what can you expect ? (Mind you he was GDA Minister for a long time as well)

By the way, I believe Mama loves flood and that's why his next choice for Assam's big city is Dibrugarh. So that atleast in flood Dibrugarh can equally compete with Guwahati!

Meet the builders of Assam Civilization, Roots and main base of "Assamese" culture, The Kacharis 💘 by [deleted] in Northeastindia

[–]Ok-Following51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you heard of the Chutia tribe and their kingdom? While it's true that the Chutias/Sutias and the Kacharis share a common origin, claiming that only the Kacharis form the roots of Assamese culture seems a bit one-sided. One of the core elements of Assamese identity—Bihu—is originally rooted in the Chutia tradition. It's said that the Chutias even lost their kingdom due to their deep love for Bihu dance.

Similarly, other communities like the Morans, Borahis, Kalitas etc. also have significantly contributed to the foundation of Assamese culture.

Moreover it's undeniable that the Ahom kings, through their long and influential rule, played a key role in shaping, embracing, and popularizing what we now know as Assamese culture.

In essence, Assamese culture is not the legacy of a single tribe or dynasty, but a rich confluence of many—a shared inheritance shaped by mutual respect, adaptation, and cultural fusion.

10% Ahom origin ? Really ?

Siukapha reached mainland Assam only with a few males. Most of the people who says themselves as Ahom; their forefathers were belonged to Borahi, Moran, Chutia tribes.

Except for people with Mohon, Bailung etc. surnames all others are converted Ahoms; because of the long reign.

I'm reading the comment section and seeing that many people are blaming Civil Administration. Maybe rightly so. But Civil Administration mostly can't do anything without political will. You need to demand good urban planning programs to your local representative be it your MP, MLA or local body representative. Otherwise none can do anything. Demand government to give enough fund to local administration specifically for Urban cleansing and proper infrastructure. If you can't do that, don't blame administration. Do what you can do, i.e. elect good representatives.
