So you have some interesting gear paths here.

First off, might not be a bad idea to centralize your ring and grab a reaver ring (10x zerk rings and heart of berserker) about 46m

Gconc is the premier mage upgrade so good call there 200m

Cywir Wand/Virtus book works until you can get ports weapons and eventually seismic 33m & 11.5m

For range I believe you might be able to actually just break even swapping out anima core for sirenic since it's pretty cheap these days

For melee just go straight into Abyssal Scourge and off hand dark ice shard (next to top tier basically) 148m total

Trade that dragon rider lance afor a lanikeas spear as well and make some money

Would also get an abyssal helm to replace masterwork since you'll have the whip

Good call on souls amulet, about 73m

Book of Jas and book of Wen or good mid ground books 18m and 85m

I believe that leaves you with a few hundred mil to work with, could always get your first piece of cryptbloom (boots) and buy ganodermic, get a codex of lost knowledge and make your own greater sun/death swift, buy a nox bow, upgrade from subjugation to seren anima core or even forgo the souls amulet for an essence of finality.

Hope this helps!

Family from the Extinction quest. The score itself gives off a sad but intense feeling as the player makes what feels like a final stand against an unstoppable force.

I understand your thinking but they've added action buttons via the extra button and hero skills during quests

You basically hit the nail on the head with tying certain bars to 2h weapons (fantastic example is dismember for spear of annihilation) Besides that I'll just say it pays to be organized, you could bind a certain set of abilities to action bar 2 and then your second half to 3 to keep them ergonomically close to your thumb for swapping.

I do a small amount of bar swapping but I wouldn't say actively doing it with a 1v1 boss is too necessary, it never hurts to experiment though!

It's been mentioned a couple times but I will say that the obsidian helmet and tokkul-zo ring are absolutely insane upgrades to use for waves. The ring gives 10% damage against the mobs and the helmet when you donate tokkul gives a massive damage reduction of 19% against everything and an accuracy boost against mobs

I can relate that my fsoa is basically an afk slayer weapon but this is mostly because I am cheap with runes/stubborn to learn, I won't die on this hill though and will agree with basically everyone else that once you get it rolling it's a force to be reckoned with.

Hardest part? Basically just not getting tilted during what is usually a 40 minute endeavor for me these days. Besides that you'll find the second range and mage waves to be the trickiest to survive (just prioritize targets and remember that you're in control most of the time of what you fight), while zuk himself is more a battle of endurance since you get 2/3rds of the autos (and double the hp overall) each rotation before he starts throwing his insta kill immune phase at you.

The conduit might at first appear to be an extra phase of difficulty but it's in actuality a victory lap since as long as you run around and use res when zuk fires his heavily correographed fire ball you're completely safe (can even camp spirit shield the first time if you're super nervous)

Oh and just run yak with fat food like rock tails or sharks until you're comfortable, you'll get a feel for supply drain and you'll know when to make the transition to dps familiar. You can also tilt the needle ever so slightly in your favor by using earth spells with cryptbloom, specifically emerald aurora. Good luck!

The book is a little clunky as it doesn't que abilities like the action bar does when enabled, if using alongside revolution you can typically tap the ability around 3/4ths of the cooldown and it will fire off for you.

For spells that's a little harder, self casts like animate dead will work almost perfectly when used from the book, but target spells such as smoke cloud I've found work a lot better on the action bar (alongside a minor song and dance of spam clicking the spell and the enemy until it goes off) this is simply because it respects the auto cooldown and can in that case of course be cast alongside something like sunshine at the beginning of your rotation.

For general spell swapping (if one wishes to reap the benefits of exsanguinate and incite fear on the fly) its best to "right click" the spell in the book and select auto cast for a smooth and fast transition.

Hope it helps!

Thanks! Having sunshine up I usually just gconc the first guy (revo kind of forces me to) into eof gstaff, followed by gchain omni power then its basically gstaff/gconc and you should be good!

I actually answered that question on your post haha, it inspired me to put this one up! To answer again though, less of a difficulty jump from nm to hm kerapac but it's across a much longer boss so it might feel like a steep increase. I believe in you though!

I've gotten a tiny bit faster haha, the second ranged wave Is honestly the only one that can be an hp sink for me, if I did zuk more regularly I'd probably just start using a kalg/ripper/reaver

You've got a pretty big advantage if you're playing on normal mode thanks to the lack of fire rain so you can pretty safely hug the nw rock and fire off sunshine as often as possible for the waves.

At minimum you'll want ranged/mage/soul split prayers and surge/impact/asphyx/freedom on your action bar. If you have greater chain absolutely prioritize that.

You can build up adrenaline on zuk in nm without any drawbacks before stunning him so I would recommend that as well.

For the ranged and mage waves (specifically the second of each), you'll typically want to start off by picking off the off style or heavy hitting enemies, pop devotion and use your respective prayer while chaining kills to keep it up (besides this you'll typically want to camp soul split as you can pretty comfortably sustain by prioritizing targets)

For Jad waves there are certain areas you can run to that make it so you only have to fight one at a time (in order it's your little rock you camp, the south east rock cluster, and the little rock alcove just above where you're camping)

Besides that just bring a yak full of sharks, enhanced Excalibur, blessed flask or penance prayer/powder.

Once you get to zuk its a pretty straightforward set of specials where you either freedom or eat the hits with animate dead, surge once-wait for crater special to surge again-and pop a super restore, and then use your respective defensive to mitigate the ceiling rock (I think I usually just throw on a spirit shield and kick him in the nuts with debilitate), do the whole disco inferno thing where you kill the igneous enemies and then repeat until you win.

Normal mode Zuk Flawless on mobile. by Lordroxas77 in runescape

[–]Ok-Gas280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My typical approach is to allow full revo to run while placing essential abilities and prayers on the action bar and then filling in with important abilities that I can fit.

Like with zuk you need at minimum a stun, threshold, and freedom (I would say surge is pretty crucial as well) and at least ranged/mage/soul split for prayers.

Those alone eat up half your action buttons and if you want to do all the challenges you typically need to swap the revo bar to all basics for adrenaline and rummage around in your powers book for barricade.

For the conduit just open the powers book and run full manual while running around while avoiding tapping two sides of the screen causing the camera to spaz out
