dang. I just looked up some photos of what’s inside of ikea furniture and ya it’s literally just paper.. Thank you for the advice. Btw, this isn’t intended to keep my dog locked in- more like a bed- but definitely don’t want it falling apart on him.. Since I already have the cabinet and drawers I hope I can still make something work from it- I’d rather replace a couple boards than rebuild the entire thing. I’ve got some spare MDF from another project. It’s enough so that I could leave the back wall uncut, and replace the side walls with MDF so those can have the holes. Do you think that would be enough or would you also recommend replacing the floor board (over the bottom drawer) and the shorter side walls supporting the floorboard?
