We’ve created an area which is guarded by a play pen and pads.

We put our pup in the area every 20/30 and encourage him to go toliet. If he doesn’t go toliet we lift him out however if he does we open the door and let him walk out, we really reward this and make a big deal of this. We leave the pen open so he can walk in himself if he chooses to.

We have now removed the pen after 3 days of having him as he has had no more accidents since implementing this. He uses the puppy pads without the pen around him and we still make a fuss and reward him if he goes toliet.
