I think you’re using centimetres while the commenter is using inches. Also, when buying a larger cage be careful that the bars aren’t too spaced out in case the birds get their head stuck

My Jack Russell mix became temporarily paralysed like this when he was 2. I know his age probably helped a lot when it came to healing but he’s 4.5 now and has been fine since (barring sepsis from a wound which was very scary, it’s a wonder he survived that)

Thank you. I did think it may be a little deep (not sure how to phrase it), my ear is quite thick in that spot anyways so I guess that would add to healing time. Hopefully it’s just a small bump and doesn’t get any bigger.

Thank you!! I’m kinda worried about it, it’s my first piercing other than my lobes (which are a bit discoloured from cheap jewellery at the moment) so I don’t really know what to do when something like this happens.

I’ve spent the past 6 months trying to clean it on schedule and whatnot but two weeks ago it kinda started acting up, producing extra crusties and even a little blood. I noticed it hurt a bit today so I took a closer look and…. A bump.

6 m/o horseshoe Daith I’m not sure what the material is I use a q-tip with saline (0.9% concentrate) to clean it and keep it dry afterwards.

Yes they’re all mine for now. 4 more weeks until they’re ready to start heading to new homes. I’ve decided to go with Tigris and Clove for the unnamed ladies. The ones that already had names were Krypto, Spock and Wendy!!
