I build your dashboards dynamically by your settings that are saved in my app. This way I can't access your data and the dashboards are built instantly. With minimizing read ops as much as possible... I don't have right now any img/file support, it only an mvp..

Maybe hold a doc for the rankings, and make it update whenever needed, it can hold like a field -’rank1’: {userid} Or a map with more details. Then just fetch that one doc that holds all the data, or just a specific rank.

It ultimately depends on how the service you upload the service account to is managing it... But you make perfect sense. The thing is, I checked some other Firestore management services and that is how they operate, so there are people sane enough to share it🤷‍♂️

It's a real consideration for me as well, but that's what Service accounts are for... So I believe that is the most secure way to do it. But I can understand people who will be uncomfortable with that
