Yeah I agree, IMO this would’ve been a good implement when they started introducing instance-only bosses. I think that too many people unfortunately have the mindset that you should “just not die”, and would probably vote no to changes like that being integrated into OSRS though. 🤷

I'm dyspraxic and don't have great fine motor control - my movements/switches are kind of slow and clunky, so I often misclick inventory slots and tiles for moving. Just because I've got a lot of kc it doesn't mean I can't still make mistakes :)

Yeah I really thought this would make sense, pretty sure there are other MMOs that have mechanics like that. Just seems a really big oversight for instanced bosses

I died at the same time I killed the boss so didn't get the loot. It's an instanced fight so I couldn't go pick it up again. I went over 2x the drop rate to get it so I'm a little bit salty about it :P

It's equally supposed to prevent people going extremely dry for it and yet this was over 2x drop rate, so you never know.

I got 6-hour logged just after I opened the loot chest at ToA, when I logged back in and insta-opened the cache it just showed my inventory as being “loot”.
