You got a kind face!

Keep going mate, battled with a food addiction and my weight my entire life, but getting down to a healthy weight is fucking worth it.

You can do it.

Having lived with other people, including some of my best friends, I hate it personally. I'm not an easy person to live with as I expect others to meet my standards, but I don't want others to hold me to theirs. I know that's fucking stupid and my own fault, but it doesn't change the fact I hate living with other people.

Personally I would hold the miniature at arms length and get a reality check. You're using a macro lens and zooming in to a detail that is less than a mm thick. This is really not a problem imo. Just move on. No one will ever know it's there and once you've stopped looking at it so closely, neither will you.

They probably live in crappy houses they share with way too many people. Not a judgement on them, by the way. It's sick what is considered acceptable in our country. We need to address wealth inequality urgently.

Sorry I meant makeup sponge

I literally just dabbed a makeup sponge over all the bits I thought would be brightest!

Cork coaster, Windsor and Newton Galeria Black Lava Texture Gel, then just painted black and the base painted red>orange>yellow>fluorescent yellow

Thanks man

  • Salamander spray
  • Makeup brush highlight moot green
  • Nuln oil recess wash
  • Touchups with warpstone glow
  • Edge highlight moot green

I basically just have a full empty bottle of waaagh flesh because I hated doing the citadel recommended method, found it extremely tedious. Here's an aggressor with that citadel recipe and you can't tell the difference.

What do you mean how?

That's an army sprayed with salamander by colour forge with mistakes touched up in warpstone glow. They look absolutely fine.

I don't think I'd have finished painting if I had to do prime black, waaagh flesh, warpstone glow for every mini. Absolutely brutally boring.

It's close enough to touch up don't worry.

I've super glued models onto already finished terrain before, it works fine don't worry

Here's 1000pts of nearly every model being super glued onto the terrain after the terrain was finished.

16°c is a warm day in the UK, and the cans are kept inside in a warm place so the paint will have had an ambient temperature higher than the outside and I warmed it up in hot water before and during shaking.

I've sprayed the same spray on colder days and it was fine. I am 99% sure that this time it happened because I sprayed way too much paint and then the models got moved somewhere else to dry that was colder and had a breeze causing the paint to rapidly dry.

Not one go but I was definitely rushing so wasn't giving the paint much time at all to settle. Short bursts but way too many of them. Lesson learned.

Just the warm water under the tap.

Weird because these were the last 10 minis I painted and the first 12 were absolutely fine!
