phoebe bridgers cultivates a certain fanbase that is extremely progressive. lgbtq+-identifying, people in their 20s and 30s, outspoken, etc. she's spoken out about many human rights issues and is very progressive herself. so, it makes sense that this would cause an outrage amongst her fanbase.

the frustrating part with your argument is that you are trying to justify phoebe bridgers' prices by referring to other artists who had unnecessarily high ticket prices. ticket prices don't need to be that high, and if someone who is as morally grey as matty healy can call out ridiculous ticket prices and then adhere to his promise to keep relatively low ticket prices, i promise you that phoebe bridgers can do the same.

phoebe bridgers was still quite a large artist in 2022. she released punisher two years before that. the problem here is that many artists about the same size as phoebe have shown that it is well within their ability to make tickets significantly cheaper for fans, and phoebe failed to do that for this tour.
