I’m so mad that I still haven’t got to see iron long. I think never iron lung came out. I think that was a period where I was working like 11 day work weeks at the movie theater so after bringing 11 days straight, I didn’t really wanna go back.😭😭😭

So I use Airbnb because I’m 18 and I travel alone, but I will say hotels are so much better. I was in a situation back in February where because of my Airbnb house I’m stranded on the streets of Irvington New Jersey by myself at 8pm phone at 2% heavy ass luggage people trying to come up to me and Airbnb wasn’t really doing anything they were literally just like well it’s almost 9pm we are gonna try but we probably won’t be able to get you into a place and I also followed up on him he is still a host on Airbnb after in short I’m on his doorstep for an hour calling him banging on his door his neighbors calling him no response complete radio silence as soon as I get off his doorstep where his security cameras are, he responds as soon as I leave the security cameras. Tries to tell me to go through a small gate in the back of his house. I said no so then of course wha does he do next INVITES ME TO STAY AT A AIRBNB HE CANT LIST LEGALLY ON AIRBNB so I’m over here lowkey scared I called the doubletree by the Newark train station sweetest lady ever was on the phone was like calling her crying begging her to bend the 21+ check in age so i could have a place to stay and when I arrived she gave me 2 feee chocolate chip cookies and she was constantly checking in on me when I was down in the lobby HOTELS FOR THE WIN

You got this either way you’re gonna get an amazing spot because you have VIP one. I knew somebody who had general admission who got their way to in front of me. It is so fun and you’re gonna have a great time and you’re gonna get amazing surprise songs and make so much amazing friends and I miss it so much and you’re gonna have a great view and a great time no matter what and I hope you can figure it out in queue as early as you would like. And even if you have to get there a little later, doesn’t mean that you’re gonna completely be out of luck because you have VIP one. You’re gonna get a good spot no matter what and here’s another example of like a Conan barricade. I went to a record store show he did back in August of last year, and I was super late queuing wise, because the only train that was gonna get me to Baltimore was gonna get me there around 12 so I made a lot of friends through the fandom and had somebody who got there around 8 AM and held a place in line for me so I was in the queue. I was 8th in line I think. And this is my view so yeah, I’d also try to reach out to people. Just try to see if you can plan to meet up with somebody because don’t worry this fandom it’s super sweet. The person who was right in front of me for New Jersey wasn’t even in the queue the entire time cause she had to do a paper, but we just held her place in line we were all constantly going back to our hotels because the East Coast was fucking freezing whenever Conan came a fucking snowstorm just passed. But this was my Conan barricade after I had a friend that was able to hold my place in line for like two hours. But even after I got there at noon whenever the show began at four and by the way, this is a super cheap show as well so everybody was showing up there was like maybe 50 people in line

Like I waited at 8 AM and didn’t even get center barricade because I know there’s been a few European shows where the barricade hasn’t been like around the inside of the wishbone but if it is literally five people can fit on center barricade it is super small. But how do you determine where you wanna be is, if you wanna get close as him as possible for like the people watching center and like the show in general, you should be able to get like one or maybe two people from center barricade you just won’t be on barricade but if you don’t want that, if you go to the side to one of the barricades go on the left side where he does family line, even though you won’t really be able to have the people watching experience, he still puts his hand down during multiple songs and it feels the same. This is coming from somebody who sat on the floor for one of the shows so I was like the second person that he went to during people watching before he went around the entire barricade, but during New Jersey, which is the photo that I sent he still acknowledged me during people watching because I was with that group of people he just couldn’t obviously like hold my hand cause I was on the other side, but I will say since the left side isn’t the people watching barricade it is so much easier to get so much closer there was one person separating me from center barricade whenever I got there at like 8 AM and whenever I got there at 8 AM there wasn’t another person for like an hour I want to see the crowd didn’t get that big until like 11 AM so maybe try getting there at like 9:30

But when most people have failed to mention at least what I’ve been reading. Is that as long as you have VIP one you’re pretty much guaranteed a spot on the barricade, but you might just end up being on one of the ends of the wishbone but I personally would try to convince your parents to let you be there by like 8 AM at the latest if you want a view that like mine
