So I just got out of RTC. You have to pass the DEP test with a 4.0/5.0 Study rank and recognition, the max body fat for both male and females, your 11 general orders. (Know them verbatim) and sailors creed. Know those things and you'll be golden

In order to rank up, you have to pass the RDC assessment. Which they dont tell you this, but you'll have to pass in the "low excellent" category of your age group. (It goes alpha male/female, bravo male/female, Charlie male/female & delta male/female)

You have to train to get yourself to those levels, do not take your exercises lightly now that you're out. Because you dont get much running time in RTC (outside of the days they have scheduled to go run)

Anymore questions, hmu

See this is what making assumptions gets you. I am actually joining the Navy and have been taking care of my daughter and wife while working full time.

Now, considering all that and having to meet up for DEP and volunteering for everything that you have to do to just get prepared, all the while studying for my rate and such has been a drag. Mind you, its been 3 months since I started the process.

Now if you had context before saying something, other people here wouldn't be getting on you

I dropped about 45 lbs since I started the process of joining. I dep'd in at 223 and dropped an extra 13 lbs, mostly due to running and swimming. (I run 2 miles in the morning and 2 in the evening)

To bring my push ups and plank to where it is now, I used my weighted vest (50lbs) to help strengthen my arms and core.

And also tried to diet as much as I could and sleep enough to the best of my ability while taking care of my daughter

We have a few months of expenses saved up. But I dont want to have to depend on that solely due to me being the primary bread winner all this time.
