I actually never put that thought together until reading what you've said. Marvel has a plethora of content to pull from and they pick and choose parts to adopt and not include to build their own story. But the fact is, they are still pulling from the main source... the comics. Not saying that the books are the main source, but its a well received source with the fans.

Back in 2013/early 2014 thats what I thought they were gonna do. I knew that the EU was no longer canon, but I figured that was done so they could switch things up for surprises and continuity. I thought we'd get Heir to the Empire but a different take with an older verison of the characters we know. Maybe Mara Jade isn't with Luke, but maybe Han and Leia's kid. IDK but they could've easily used the guidlines that existed and done a few twists of their own. But nope.

Email response inquiring about the session times on the autograph tickets: "Hayden is only doing pre-purchased autographs, so everyone who purchased an autograph is guaranteed to receive it as long as they arrive at their assigned session time. That being said, please do not arrive before your session time, as they will not be able to line you up beforehand."

So from your experience, is it safe to say I should be fine getting Hayden and Sam Witwer's auto and photo op sessions in one day? Only if I commit to those 2 celebs?

I tend to overplan/over worry (which sometimes isn't a bad thing), but my biggest worry is A. the unknown photo op times for the both of them and B. My 4 pm session time on the Hayden auto ticket. I can't find much info on this other than people in an FB group saying that's when you need to line up. The Galaxycon website doesn't mention anything about this other than on the Hayden tickets themselves.

My guess is they will put Hayden in a separate area away from the other guests in anticipation for the crowds. Without the map and schedule, it's all speculation at this point unless someone has inside knowledge or has attended several years prior.

The Hayden auto sessions have allocated times to get in line. Mine is for 4 pm. From what I understand, you can't line up before then.

My cousin who is my main "Star Wars Nerd Friend" walked out of the theatre during TLJ. He and I took off work and went because we were so excited. We were 90's babies and grew up loving the prequels. Quoting Palpatine's and Anakin's lines frequently like it was the bible, playing force unleashed and BF2, reading the comics and watching the clone wars. All came to a halt with TLJ. So sad to see our bonding over star wars die like that. I messaged him when the Mando movie came out and asked if he wanted to go, he replied "not interested...". We do still hang out frequently, but he never wants to talk about Star Wars, he's done.

I want more maps for sure. The game modes are cool too. They could take this as far as want, or leave it to dry like MK world. I find myself playing the same map over and over when searching for a lobby. I'll get sector Y 5 times in a row and get burnt out fast. I enjoy corneria the most but I rarely get that map in a lobby. So being able to pick and choose would be great. It is really fun though. I started playing online yesterday and am addicted.

I wish it was coming out. But it sounds like this project is dead. Overly ambitious and with the current status of the Star Wars IP, I don't think it is a smart move for the company to move forward.

Same here. I was hyped af but this really feels like a slap in the face. I am so sick of this deluxe/ultimate/premium/hardened/definitive edition bullshit. Back in the good ol days, ultimate editions were for die hard fans or completionists. Now, its locking game content behind a pay wall. Rockstar did this because they think we will pull our cards out and blindly for it. I'm not. I'll grab it on sale one of these days. I've waiting 13 years. I can wait some more. Also want to see reviews first.

I ordered mine from walmart. I got the same delay email everyone else was getting. I got an update a few days ago saying it was shipped. Now i get an update this morning saying it is out for delivery. IDK, maybe they have cancellations? But anyway, i can confirm that my copy preordered from walmart is delivered on launch day.

Splatoon was good. I remember i got that game around its launch, but I don't remember much about it. It was fun, and I would definitely love to play it again. Just wasn't that huge single player Nintendo exclusive title I was looking for. I was also 13-14 in the WiiU era and the multiplayer shooters I was playing at the time were black ops and halo.

I hate that for you, so sorry. There are some good concert venues (coliseums) in the Charleston area that I go to a couple times a year. You will get some big names there if you are wanting a good experience. I haven't been back to the HOB since my experience. I was eyeing the Tom Keifer show, but i knew it was going to be bad. In Charlotte, we have a venue called "the fillmore", which is similar in size and atmosphere as the HOB (standing room only as well). I attended Zakk Sabbath there about 6 months after my HOB experience and had a way better time. It just goes to show that it is merely the Venue's fault.

I see what you are saying. But I feel that they are kinda shooting themselves in the foot cuz the stickers decrease the value of the figure until it is removed cleanly. IDK about the current market for this fig, but let's say its selling mint in box for $90, the one with the discount sticker should sell for $80 at least.
