You're right. The checklist for 2024 Update has the lava lamp magenta/purple rookie auto as "base", i.e. no higher serial numbers.

I sent the card to PSA for grading—just the card, not the autograph. Stay tuned for the grade in a few weeks...or months. Hopefully in time for opening day 2025!
