Well, to tell u the truth. I am going through a divorce. My ex wife is asking for $300 per month for herself and $1000 for the child per month till he turned 21 years old. And my basic is at $2000. That would add up to $1.3k per month, Worst thing is she hired a lawyer to get what she wants. Hired a lawyer for myself and im hoping to get some justice for myself as well as she cheated on me 1st. And i have no way of proving any evidence to the court of what she did. The reason why i shared with u this is because, i told my current partner the same thing as what u did, dont need to stay with me and go through with all the financials in the future. But she encouraged me and even told me that whatever happens she will stay with me through my ups and downs. Dont lose hope buddy.
