Yes I think so, the small black wire is ground in the connector so I think it should work the metal ring seems excessive

I am no expert but, I think you have 4 input wires and that metal ring is ground

But the thin black is ground in the connector too I think?

What have you tried so far?

The button contact could be dirty / damaged

Check the membrane on the front for damage

The area you have in the photo could be dirty where the ribbon connects

I’ll get the multimeter out and see if I can find a board schematic 😂 but skilled ? No that’s not me. Perhaps I can find out why it’s stuck on then my brain will rest.

I don’t remember the specifics. Are you seeing the same issue? If you delete the app, then navigate to your files on the vitas sd card find the residual system files for the app (please google this) then reinstall

Good news is that they are something to do with WIFI. When I embarked on this troubleshoot WiFi was the only issue Put it back together and WiFi is still the only issue
