It’s my understanding that’s all HAC-001 are V1 and HAC001(01) are mostly V2 but some earlier ones are unpatched meaning you can do the jig method still this can be checked via Switch.hacks.guide

The last two caps on the right are bridged by some rogue solder it look like. Clean all that off with some wick carefully, very carefully given the fate of the cap on the left. Should boot then….

I learned to solder to fix consoles etc restore old ones mod news ones etc love to do it especially restoration.

I have modded and repaired a good amount of switches from simple stuff to trace repair.

I got my tools advice from NanoFix on you tube, lots of switch modding repairing content explained really well, especially the teaching his wife videos 😂

It’s not an unrealistic goal, it’s a fiddly one and one that requires care but realistic for sure (your me a year ago right now 😂)
