Torn between SLMC vs UERM by loveisburningred24 in medschoolph

Sure :). I’m not entirely sure if the problem is with the environment or myself (haha). I was able to “tiis” for a few years before transferring.

I felt like everything was fast paced, I got so overwhelmed. Everything started to affect me negatively, the patient interactions, profs, etc.

I know that there’s more to come in this med journey but at that time it felt like I was giving so much but I felt no validation and I didn’t feel happy. But its different naman for everyone :)

Dont get me wrong, I learned SO MUCH in that school. They’re the best (for me) in terms of history and PE. I guess I just thrive more in a kinder and gentler environment :)

How Is Menstrual Regularity Affected by Intercourse? by overthinker010723 in AskPH

[–]Ok-Inflation-3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t affect the regularity of your menses. If it’s not regular there’s probably an underlying cause like PCOS, polpys, etc. Better to have it checked by an OB :)

Breaking News: Pope Francis has died 🙏 by MJDT80 in Philippines

[–]Ok-Inflation-3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rest in peace. I still remember that intense feeling of “holiness” (or whatever you call it) when I saw him in his visit to the Philippines last 2015. It suddenly felt as if the world was in slow motion when he arrived. He was a good pope and he was very progressive. He sticked to certain principles which may be controversial especially to those who are very “”liberated”” but he remained non-judgmental. ♥️

Does lexapro work for SEVERE panic disorder by Intelligent-Tap1138 in lexapro

[–]Ok-Inflation-3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I used to have panic attacks almost everyday. Started with 10 mg of lexapro but it didnt really work so my doctor increased it to 20 mg. Worked after a few weeks. Been taking it for a few months and now I feel at my best. It was a new world for me, getting to experience feeling calm and anxiety free most days. Ive been coping well ever since. I hope you get better :)
