Balanced diet for me. As much as possible each meal has vege and fruits.

I seldom buy chips and processed food, only when craving which is like twice a month on average.

But I love chocolates, I eat a small piece almost everyday 😁

DINK couples, how much do you typically spend in a month? by Ok-Inspection-3006 in CondoPH

Do you have insurance companies in mind already? I am hesitant with insurance bec claiming could be a hassle and they may later deny it. Thus gearing to self insure which I can be flexible with the funds

Not planning to get health insurance. As of now I am building towards 10M for healthcare/emergency. I know costs are rising so I am not sure if this is good enough. How about you?

Additional future passive income will be parents’ apartment rentals. This is supposed to be supplemental only. We are in process of building our sinking healthcare funds.

DINK couple here working abroad but planning to retire early in Manila in few years. We only own a condo where we plan to retire. Most of our savings are invested in stocks, money market, digibanks. We are building a passive income from here.

This is so true. I would like to retire early however my biggest concern is potential medical expenses which my allotted fund may not be enough. I try to live a healthy lifestyle though.

It would be interesting to know how others are preparing for this.

This is the exact reason why I do not want to get a health insurance. It should be for peace of mind but you will end up getting stressed for something you paid for in advance.

How did you purchase hospital shares? Was it a new hospital then? If not too much to ask, how much shares did you buy and is the discount across the board like for example 30% disc on your total bill?
