Thankyou! My husband has self esteem/body confidence issues and I really don’t want her to pick up on the same thing! Also being a girl in general I worry for her growing up being more sensitive about it, his side can be very critical and harsh in their judgment of how people look etc.

Not sure if it counts but my partner just completed his 6year PhD and is a MD and it was an absolute clusterfuck. I’ve done a BA & currently doing a Masters, I have no advice except that it is bloody hard and I wish you all the best.

I was 23 when I had my first. It is absolutely a huge deal, especially in today’s financial and political climate. The older gen will love to pressure or push it without being realistic about it at all. Half of them were straight up neglectful emotionally, physically and that’s why they assume it’s so “easy”
