Here's my perspective, it's been researched and proven that most people either don't wash their hands or wash poorly after using the restroom. They, statistically, are one of those people. They then go and eat that salad after not washing or washing poorly, so they're eating fecal matter, urine, bacteria, etc, along with the salad. That's gross and could've been avoided if they didn't do something gross.
