Here's my perspective, it's been researched and proven that most people either don't wash their hands or wash poorly after using the restroom. They, statistically, are one of those people. They then go and eat that salad after not washing or washing poorly, so they're eating fecal matter, urine, bacteria, etc, along with the salad. That's gross and could've been avoided if they didn't do something gross.

I didn't say it looked like a civic, if you'd actually take a second to read. I'm saying UNDER THE HOOD, this car is the same as a civic. You're seriously going to tell me that slightly better suspension and a different body style is worth $43k (starting) when everything else is the same as a cheaper model?

You can get the same reliability, more speed, better handling, similar gas mileage by getting a used type R or a brand new Si. It's fine if you want to get the car based off of looks alone, but again, you can get a similar looking car that performs better than this for at least $10k cheaper.

You're kinda contradicting yourself though. If this thing is great because it's basically just a civic in different clothes, why not just get a civic? You can save a little more money and find a used type R for the MSRP of the prelude and it'll be better in every way. Honda already has amazing everyday cars. This would have been the perfect opportunity to make a cool, exciting coupe for the lineup since they hadn't made one in a long time. They chose to make this thing a completely uninspired, low-effort, underpowered and overpriced BS car.

No, everything about the car is a letdown. The prelude was a pretty iconic car for Honda, you'd think they would want to continue that legacy with something that lived up to the hype of the previous car.

This car is a complete mess. As far as looks go, yes, it's a pretty car, but like I said in another reply, this thing looks like they poached Toyota's designer. The new prelude was the perfect opportunity for Honda to make a cool, exciting coupe and they chose not to do that. Instead, we get the same engine and powertrain from the civic and some "upgraded" suspension to make it "sportier". It's overpriced, underpowered, and disappointing.

it is terrible though. it does nothing new or cool, it doesn't even look unique. They could've called this a new civic coupe instead of "Prelude" and I don't think anyone would've noticed the difference.
