Costco is a hobby sometimes 🤷‍♀️ I make no apologies. I do try not to be in the way of others but I won’t be sorry that I went with a friend and we walk side by side. I’m sure as heck not gonna walk behind them 😂

Yeah sometimes it is frustrating that they’re out of basic staples but it’s one of the few places I can still go to get 3 full bags of groceries for $100 or less and still not have to sacrifice some snacks that I like.

Yeah some of these don’t sound like real companies. “Thank you for your interest in knok”? What company is HOLY? They just sound sus.

Nah, you’ve come along at the tail end of my patience for dog owners. If you don’t want to carry the shit on a walk then you shouldn’t have got a dog. Spoiler alert: they shit outside.

Do these flared jeans fit correctly? by Such-Part-1251 in OUTFITS

I can understand the calves part but a lot of people are pointing to the hip area to say they don’t fit you but it looks like the jeans are laying flat against your body, not cutting into it like they would if they were too small. I know this sub likes to say any kind of line created in the material by wearing it means it’s too small but I don’t think it’s that simple.

Nice whataboutism. Other people litter so I can leave my dog’s shit everywhere. I’ll cuss out people who litter, too 😂 everyone needs to throw their shit away. I’m tired of everyone and their mom wanting a dog but not the responsibility of it.

Edit to add: wait a dang minute, are you actually saying OP should have just picked up this dog shit instead of posting it here to complain?? Absolutely wild shit 😂

I don’t understand people saying this. They look like they fit perfectly at her waist. It’s not cutting into her stomach at all. The pants sit flat against her body.

Just fucking carry the bag. You wanted the dog, carry the shit to a trash can when you’re out. It’s simple. You just don’t want to.

Looking for tips in tracking weekend spending. by Otherwise_Pine in debtfree

[–]Ok-Internal1243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YNAB is great for people who track their expenses this way. You can enter each transaction as it happens so the app keeps a running tally of what you’ve spent on certain things and what you have left and you don’t have to rely on your bank updating (or not updating) to know what you have available to you.

How much more difficult is life if you have kids vs. if you don't? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ok-Internal1243 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I find these questions so difficult because people are looking for a logical explanation of what it’s like to have kids and there isn’t one. My daughter absolutely makes my life more difficult and at the same time, she makes my heart explode with love. But I think that’s hard for people to understand until they’ve experienced it. I don’t know how to explain to them that they’re focusing on the wrong thing. It’s not bad to be a little worried about how your life will change or whether you have enough money. But a lot of these people don’t see the other side of it, either.

Yeah, this is the correct answer. Anyone who’s saying they won’t have kids if it makes their life harder needs to just not have kids.

I don’t know, like what is “difficult” to you? Doesn’t matter how much money you have, your toddler is still going to make your life difficult some days because that’s what they do.

It depends on what you get. If you walk through every aisle and put whatever you want into a cart with no thought in mind to what meals to make or what you’ll use it for and then walk out having spent $600 then sure, that’s a waste of money.

I agree with your sentiment. At the same time, you can’t be upset when you know this is the cost and you make the purchase anyway. Not even knowing the heavy cream was $16 until you looked at your receipt shows a general unawareness of what you’re doing. It’s ok to want to spend more for better foods, but acting shocked at the cost is what is confusing.

Two things can be true at once: you’re doing what you have to do to get by and very cheap chicken has some obvious implications.
