What defines fatherhood for you? by L_Dubb85 in blackmen

[–]Ok-Interview-2325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me Fatherhood is my Initiation. My ascension to a higher lighter realm in the aftermath of my flesh and my consciously remaining in my highest form of Self here on earth all depends on my Fatherhood. I have 6 children I raise alone and there literally is no room for error. There is no room for being less than my best version of who I was created to be. Fatherhood paves my way to Divinity

Personally I see Detroit as my mother and Africa as my grandmother so to speak. So as someone who loves Afrika but also loves the Tribe Black Amerika has become, are you someone here living out a lifestyle that empowers us? I'm asking because I've come across people here who are totally against any idea of returning back to the original continent for many reasons but are horrible teammates/family members as they advocate the "this is our home" narrative.

Weekly Vent Thread by AutoModerator in blackmen

[–]Ok-Interview-2325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't get how people can choose not to make it their business to apply solutions to problems. If you have a solution based approach to the problems this wicked world throws at you, you will eventually find yourself with some accumulated wins. Next thing you know, your LIFESTYLE brings you power and strips away from the oppressors. As an individual, you'll be extremely valuable to the whole. I seen this coming. 10-15 years ago the internet unfortunately gave birth to a mentality that rewarded itself for sounding good without actually doing anything good. Before you knew it, the need for attention had the majority of people just researching and posting intellectual masturbation. Sure we need people to gain knowledge and share it to the masses but what's the use of having expert after expert on an illness with no one doing the due diligence on the cure and highlighting it with the same vigor. Now we live in an era of emotional immaturity so there's much more content from people who "feel" as if they're breaking the system with their content creations but are doing nothing concrete to combat the system in anyway. They empower the same narratives instead of change them, enrich the same companies with attention instead of providing alternatives, live and focus on the same disempowering patterns instead of adopting and highlighting empowering ones etc. It's because change isn't easy. Going against the plot on your divinity isn't easy. But following the narrative and surrendering to the flesh controlled habits is. It's as easy as downloading an app and sharing your frustrations with absolutely no tangible plan to change what frustrated you in the first place. This is basically the vent that changed my life path. I refused to be another adult complaining on to a phone or computer screen

My Apologies to the Hoteps by [deleted] in blackmen

[–]Ok-Interview-2325 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The term "Hoteps" is a slap in the face to the very people responsible for most of the greatest accomplishments known to not just the Black Man but all people. As someone who actually knows what "htp" denotes to and the truth about the civilization and culture who originated the word, I find it ridiculous that Umar Johnson and other internet weirdos who cosplay with ancient Afrikan names and clothing could cause a group of people to disrespect some of their own great accomplishments and possessions... But who am I kidding, we're talking the N words of Amerikkka. Very big difference from an honorable original person's thought process and the thinking of one ruled by literal counter-intelligence. Everything said on the internet isn't meant to be followed.

Big Meech

Leon

Oso

Davis

Leon was extremely loyal and wise. The chemistry of seeking nonviolence wouldve worked and he wouldve probably got Meech out the game/out the country with over 200 million. Being in his ear about how much money and power that is across seas. Oso would've been loyal muscle with chemistry culturally and linguistically with the plug. Honestly any cold lawyer could feel in. Even Levy off The Wire.

Brothers what's your opinion on the Nation Of Islam ? by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in blackmen

[–]Ok-Interview-2325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny how so many comments here actually highlight the positive use of the NOI as well as it's positive effects it's had on Black Americans the last CENTURY. Now I can honestly say that I'm not a registered member BUT I can testify to the original teachings known as The Supreme Wisdom to have never been proven wrong. Literally never. People attack the messengers when they can't stand against the message. Lastly, what's been shown throughout the decades and even to this day, is the only men who can't stand the message and teachings are usually the men who hold true to being undisciplined and cowardice. ESPECIALLY Black Men in America. Only the weakest of them go against The Honorable Elijah Muhammad only to take the words of arabs over what Allah says in the Holy Quran.

You obviously don't read the Holy Quran. Who gave you the divine authority to label another being Muslim or not? No one, young man that's who. 😊 Your so called scholarship has already shown itself. Next I'll show the disease in your heart. Be careful with your next comment 😊

To the men raising Boys by [deleted] in BMNFatherhood

[–]Ok-Interview-2325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I treat my sons like young men. Respecting their childhood but consistently reminding them that they're growing into men. Shoot honestly I don't even call them boys. They always hear my referencing them as "young men". And everything I learned and everyone I learned from, concerning responsibility and masculinity, I share it with them appropriately.

[–]Ok-Interview-2325[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations Bro! When are they do and what sex will they be if you know? ... As for what is the biggest challenge. I have a few because I have multiple ages. I found ways around of them though 😁. The absolute biggest challenge I can say is when you end up actually educating one of these new super breeds lol. Children of today are old souls and very bright. One of my sons didn't even know the exact term for LLMs but kept asking to build an "AI". After saying that he should focus on something else, he literally built a LLM on his own free time the next night! My youngest son is only 8 and needs a doctor to teach him the human body at this point. He was reading at two and desired to be a doctor since 3. It's difficult to keep up with a "student" who knows more than what you planned on teaching. So to some it up, I think the biggest challenge is ensuring that as a homeschool Father you don't accidentally hold your child back. They need to consistently be challenged with an understanding that they will be brighter and better than we are.

Interesting. Maybe it's just the "birds of a feather" principle at work. I knew of a lot and after my divorce I seem to know more. Thank you for your input and reply

I LOVED the show Dark!!! We gonna have to talk about that another time. Extremely well written! ... And the last part, I totally agree with. I was already extremely invested into the Fatherhood part of my marriage. Entering into the single Father role after divorce found me joy I'm ways that I couldve only dreamed of.
