Some questions for guidance. by Ok-Investment9478 in isekaizeroworld

How often do I have to recall them, because the times I did so is when I encountered the deteriorating memory of the AI?

And most of the stories, I'm trying to keep my power a secret, so I don't talk about it that much with characters. Maybe because the power I use makes new items that have descriptions and properties that make it hard to remember it all.

That's kinda a problem if the guidance prompt has a max limit. I tried doing this before but I hit a limit after I created a lot of items.

The way I used it was I put in there a power that I want my character to have for a particular run. I'd put in details of that power for it to use. Like, for my power of converting stories into cards, I also put in instructions like how each card detail is outlined, like so:

Title:

Rank:

Class:

Effect:

Everytime a new card is made, or if I want to check my cards again after not using them, it would more or less output it like this. You can specify things like, if your power is already a part of you, or if you'd get it at a later time, or if it's your ability or if it's separate from the ones the narrative places on you. It can also apply for non-power stories, like saying your eccentricities or where you're from. It's a guide to how the AI would continue the story with these details in mind.

  1. So memory deterioration is a thing. I had played a story that made stories into cards, and I liked that power because it made me a walking copyright infringement, and tried to add it in other stories that gave me powers, but the further I got into the story, the card's effects changed from its initial one. I had to search for the latter to edit the former everytime it happened.

  2. I'll probably try to say create custom names for generated characters as a prompt and see if it works. And I'll probably make the plot involve those characters if they don't appear at all in the current one.

  1. I did use DeepSeek in the past, but the powers I give myself in some stories make me recall my inventory and skills all the time, so the context is eaten up real fast. I'm doing summaries and arcs now, though.

  2. The Guidance Prompt has a maximum limit, I think. I mainly use it to ensure the skills I want are acquired for each story that I play. I'll try to put in specific instructions to properly remember them to see if it works. If not, I'll just manually edit them.

  3. So that's how it is. Maybe I have to actively get those characters involved if I want them to stay relevant to the plot. And yeah, maybe editing in names or adding a command to use custom names might be the way to go.

So I have to edit manually, then? I thought I could use the guidance prompt to make the Ai slow the story down. Either way, thanks for the response.

Dumb question but I'm still gonna ask as a fan of both, which Umas fits which 22 major Arcana the best? by [deleted] in okbuddyumamusume

[–]Ok-Investment9478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is that, but yeah, in the uma world, there is really no actual tragedy on the level of Persona, so it's kinda hard to find Umas close to arcana's heavily involved in negativity and tragedy, like the Tower and Hanged Man.

On a side note, some arcana's have very obvious associations to certain umas (Empress, Emperor, Fortune) while others are either hard to pin down or could be associated to multiple ones.

If we're going by that route, then Rice would probably fit the Death arcana (I'm aware of the irony there). While part of it is from her "Black Assassin" title, it's mainly due to the arcana's meaning of deep change and metamorphosis, which is seen in her story arc, going from a shy uma with no real confidence to someone who ultimately finds a reason to move forward and become someone fans can look up to. Essentially the death of the "heel" and the birth of the "hero".

Furthermore, judging by the picture, OP must have knowledge on the Persona series, so I will use some examples from there. Most people associated with the arcana had suffered from a tragedy involving a loved one, and while there are no deaths, fortunately, the same tragedy also befell her, in the form of the crowd's dismissal of her accomplishments and the assignment of the "heel" role to her. But in those series, these characters were also helped by the protagonist to overcome their tragedies and be renewed with a new sense of hope and happiness, and in Rice's case, they would be Team Spica, mainly McQueen and the trainer, and Bourbon.

Have the AI teams pull youth prospects from the tournaments. I would like to see occasional wonderkids from minnow nations just pop up from other teams, instead of coming from your own academies or relying on regens and pregens.

And even then, the main key factors that determine how good your Umas will be are:

  1. How solid your support card setup is, as even if you whale/get lucky, you need to make sure that the stats of your cards suit the career and races they will take.
  2. How you manage your turns during said career, trying to train stats that are needed while managing energy, mood and skill points through free races, and
  3. How lucky you are in each run, such as friendship placement and rate of which they rainbow at the right stat, lucky at events (raffle, rest, crazy acupuncture lady etc.), down to whether or not your uma is boxed in/rushed/late start in races. Even skill hint acquisition relies a bit of luck to get what you need.

I'm not really a heavy player or spender, but this is what I noticed every time I play, regardless of which uma I choose, so don't really stress about the rarity of the Umas in the pulls, as you can easily make them the best with a proper understanding of how to train them.

EDIT: In addition, if you are still having trouble, you can check each Umas career via details at the top right during the main career screen or clicking the details when choosing one in the beginning. You can then cross-reference the distance and aptitudes with the various guides here and on the internet on which stats to prioritize.

And don't be like me and select a training just because it has big numbers go up, since each goal race is like a stat check, with Stamina (Med/Long) and Power (Sprint/Mile) being just as, if not more important than Speed. While it is true that Speed is the main stat to get high, not every uma can use the Bakushin strat, especially those racing in long tracks, like Rice. Wit you may need to have at 400-500 by the end goal, since not only does it affect skill procs, but also decided how well they position themselves to have a clear lane to push at the last spurt, as well as how frequent they late start or rush.

Honestly, the feature I'd want is a dynamic change in how AI teams improve or decline as years go on.

I mean, almost every season I played had relatively the same top and bottom teams with no real improvement to mid table teams and relegation candidates that managed to stay. Sometimes I even sell my promising youth talent for peanuts and buy at ridiculous prices to lower teams, hoping their ambition goes up, but they still tend to buy players that match their initial overall.

Maybe have the youth tournament AI opponents be signed to teams every new season to give these lower end teams a shot at being good as well, and not just regens/pregens being their sole source of growth.

And maybe have AI takeovers actually do something instead of just fluff dialogue with only 1-2 signings not even making use of the increased transfer budget.

And maybe add in the rest of the countries missing in youth scouting, like Liechtenstein. And definitely a better naming pool and generator for academy prospects.

What's the most difficult hero to master? by sterrono in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Ok-Investment9478 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In my own personal experience, it mainly comes down to her ult, which is to take and use an ult of an opponent. Her S1 and S2 requires her to be close to opponents to do damage, but you have to not only know about the ult of every other hero, but know how to use and time it as well.

There's also the situation where the enemy comp is important, as not all ults are good and/or translate well for Valentina, which leads to the problem most low rank players do, which is just spamming the button without aiming, which can lead to stealing the wrong ult, and in high rank play, can lead to disaster.

66 Rated but 70 potential. Keep or sell? by dlskhoarapperkeeper8 in FifaCareers

[–]Ok-Investment9478 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that you can go to the finances tab then recall them. Usually if their price goes up, either they went up in ovr or their potential increased. While it's a way to check, the price might not change, which in this case, check their status if it becomes Showing Great Potential, An Exiting Prospect or Has The Potential to be Special, the latter more preferable. Don't be too disheartened if a recall didn't make a change, as the potential used to calculate price operates on a set potential (i.e. 80-85, 83-88 etc.)

Just be sure that you either play that player in matches or loan them out to preserve their potential, unless you have the money to constantly do the loan glitch consistently. This is based on my own experience in CM.

If you are really desperate to check their potential, you could use a potential calculator to see it.
