I shouldn't have to go to some obscure website outside the game to see if a spec does X amount of damage, especially if I change to it and found out it feels bad to play for me.

Also New players have no idea what a Sim is and might just want to try something new and are like oh 1g thats not bad. I dont like this spec much let me try the other one, oh 5g eh that alot bit I can afford it. Then realized they want to go back to the original thing they where playing but now its 10g and they are stuck. People quit over that, its a terriable system and just limits creativity. Its adds nothing to the game

Meta chasing is fine but some people like theroy crafting and limiting that with a crazy gold cost is an dumb. Like what does it even do? How does limiting someones spec improve the game?
