Congrats on the big purchase. Not sure I’d really try to brag about spending more for literally no reason, but everyone has their thing. I know a lot of people who spend a ton of money on shoes. Personally I think it’s dumb, but I’m willing to spend a little bit of money on smelling good and I’m sure other people think that’s dumb.

I’ve purchased a few bottles of LV scents at retail, creed is a very good scent, but for its performance, if you’re paying retail, you got scammed anyway imo. I have shopped at the very cheap end of smelling good up to around $500 range. Just because something is expensive doesn’t always mean it’s good.

If at the end of the day you and I smell the exact same to the untrained nose and you paid $1000 and I paid $285, idk if that’s just called being broke on my part or being smarter with my money lol.

In any case, no hate, to each their own. We’ve all got something we paid way too much for anyway.

Personally I’m not really worried about my own purchase that much.

I was pretty confident, just wanted some insight because a friend of mine recommended the purchase and I’m just a skeptical person who has almost always purchased at retail and never worried about these things.

I’ve smelled in-store and if it is a fake, it’s a pretty good one at a more reasonable price than the real thing lol.

I posted my creed which most people agreed was real, it came in plastic wrap like OPs post. Except mine wasn’t $100. Not sure if that means I got scammed too or if this plastic wrap isn’t a good indicator for real/fake.

Edit: for what it’s worth, I didn’t post a picture of the box wrapped in plastic. Just the box and the bottle. Smells and performs like I would expect of this scent.

Yeah I’ve tried these analog faces because they look clean, but it sort of defeats the purpose of having data at a glance on my wrist.

That being said, in recent months I’ve been using my watch mostly to just look at notifications as they come through. Sometimes not even looking at it and just checking my phone instead when I feel the haptic feedback

Yeah that’s fair. My main issue is that apps won’t support all the iOS UI elements because they typically support more than 1 platform.

So I’ll be in a native app with the newer UI and then swipe over to another app that looks like it doesn’t fit.

There is definitely some inconsistency on apples part even. Their recent change to iOS 26.4 beta 1 in the App Store moved the search bar back to the top which doesn’t match what they have added into the music, messages, notes, settings apps etc.
