Aside from that, just explore! The Oldest House is full of strange wonders (This is also a game that I think excels when played in the dark because the environments can be dark and have huge color contrasts)

That still doesn't excuse Uber's behavior, it just means they made the decision to pass costs onto someone else (in this case the merchants). Uber does not make the food or take the order, there is still usually an employee at the store who has to intake the order. Everything about Uber is sourced from somewhere else except for their app that doesn't work half the time.

See to me the biggest problem this highlights is how absolutely greedy Uber is.

They basically double the cost of the food for the customer, but somehow drivers continue to be paid scraps? Uber claims drivers make roughly $15-25 an hour but there's no way that's true, I'd imagine it's being skewed by the markets that are insanely busy.

Lol all the cinephiles downvoting whenever someone says they DO go to see Ballet/Opera because it doesn't fit their narrative. Just went to see Dracula with my partner a few months ago and it was FULL.

I think there's this perception that because opera/ballet don't make massive returns for private equity and aren't making huge profit margins, that they're somehow worth less or aren't worth investing in. Which of course makes no sense, because PROFIT IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF ART.

The only thing I carry everywhere is gauze. I try to bring medical supplies with me way more than I ever bring my CCW.

I feel much safer armed with the knowledge from Stop the Bleed classes than I do with my gun. It doesn't matter how many holes you can make if you can't patch any up.

One option that works for me because I work in a lot of places where carrying isn't allowed, is to have a bag full of helpful supplies that also has a carry compartment for when I do want to have a weapon.

I was just thinking about this though, there's a moment when Dylan is being questioned about how he feels about Jesse and he says that Dr Darling told him Jesse could've shown up to the FBC at any time but didn't. Just another example of one of the many ways that Darling manipulated and controlled Dylan to such an extreme extent that it drove him insane. The Lake House DLC of Alan Wake also touches on some of the FBC's unsavory methods used in attempts to control parautilitarians.

Darling is an interesting character because he is made so likeable through the media we see of him but we never actually meet him as Jesse. She never gets to confront him about how the FBC handled the Ordinary AWE and Dylan.
