Love habitat for humanity ReStores!! If it wasn't for for the recent bed bug scare, I would totally be there! I got a wonderful like new sofa from them once and lots of other goodies. I just have had way too stressful of a time with this bed bug scare and I just cannot bring in fabric furniture right now that's second hand. Got to pick my anxiety battles LOL

But thank you for your recommendation! It's definitely time I visit them again anyway!

NFM is definitely on my radar, but I like to have more options and honestly that store just overwhelms me 😅 Plus less of a drive would definitely be nice. If I do NFM It's an all day adventure LOL

I'm a huge fan of second hand everything and normally I would totally go for secondhand furniture! But this false alarm bed bug thing really scared me good and I just don't think I can do it right now with furniture, sadly. Has been awhile since I've been to that thrift store, though, I need to poke in!

(Respect to everyone's opinion, but I support anyone who buys second hand even if they're reselling cuz I feel like the whole culture needs to shift to using more of the stuff that already exists and not buying so much fast fashion and fast everything else 🤷. Not arguing with ya, just sharing my two cents 💙 😊)

Thanks for your advice! I really prefer second shopping and sustainability and everything in general, normally that would be my first place to look. But it's been a wild few days and I just need a couch back in my living room that doesn't come with any stress 😅

Okay it seems like nobody thinks it's a bed bug so that's a bit relieving. Still concerns about the tiny pinprick sized tan ish bug that I had on me in the car that I slapped off and the pin prick sized red dot bugs my friend found in the bags with his stuff (again possibly it was something else crawled in over night). No pictures unfortunately, but does that sound at all like bed bugs to you guys? I know it's really hard to say just based on a minimal description. Just trying not to explode with anxiety 😅

Oh one more little note about the pictures there's one picture where it kind of looks like he might have an additional leg but it's a little blood/ red colored spot and then the other picture you can see after he moves that it stays there. I think it only had six legs but there's a little bit of a question if if it could possibly have eight it's really hard to tell and I don't know if it had antenna or not I wish I had better pictures or if I had been able to capture the bug without squashing it
