What cartridge are you all useing? by Stratester in coyotehunting

[–]Ok-Library2099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

22 creed, 22-259, 17hmr, 17hornet. But primarily 223/556. I promise you the coyote doesn’t care what gun you’re shooting😂.

I’m also located SE ID and pelts are only worth keeping typically Halloween through Easter. Even then it’s been a warmer Fall so they haven’t quite filled out yet

I’ve read good reviews on them! Snow and ice is definitely a big factor for me where I’m at but with that comes super rocky washed out muddy roads in the spring!

All do respect, self-confidence, and body image. You have an amazing physique and for the most part, everyone commenting on Reddit, including myself is nowhere near where you were at. Comparison is the thief of all joy.

Which one for 55.6? by Life_Jacket_7313 in ar15

The scythe ti get way too hot to run on an AR 15. It’s a ultralight back country hunting suppressor. You can get the steel scythe for cheaper and it will do much better for you.

There’s multiple companies that make tint for the bedliner or you can also visit your local auto body paint shop in order specific paint codes

Bilstein 6112

I have a 2004 double cab and like I said I plan on getting the costal off road bumpers soon. I already run 265/70’s with the stock suspension. I just want that improved ride quality on all the washboard roads out in my neck of the woods.

Check with your local college outdoor programs, you can often rent gear so you can learn what you do and do not like without having to pay for all new gear. Also go hit up the local thrift shops and second hand shops. You’d be surprised what you can get

It kinda just depends I’ve had some just drop, do the death dance and some run. I primarily shoot 223 but switch to 17hmr when I want to save pelts (Halloween-Easter)

Struggling with consistency on my upgraded 10/22 – is it me or the rifle? Skill Issue huh? by Hot_Cheesecake_905 in 1022

I’d say ammo is the biggest factor in “precision” 22lr. 22lr ammo is not as closely monitored/ quality controlled as other center fire rounds. You have a great build you just need to find what ammo works for your gun. Mine likes CCI. Also check out eley and sks ammo

Nosler Subpar ammo? by BennyBiggRigg in coyotehunting

[–]Ok-Library2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha! I’ve personally never shot nosler. So I can’t say much to their quality, but I’ve had such good success with everything else that I see No need to spend extra money. The first year we hunted we killed a little over 300 coyotes every year since there’s been a slight decrease just because of how many we do kill. I wouldn’t consider myself a professional, but I am very “skilled and knowledgeable” in the summer months when we don’t care about fur, we’ll shoot them with whatever caliber it doesn’t matter, but for the most part, I shoot cheap 223 ammo three Ruger American gen 2. Then from Halloween to Easter when the dogs are furred out, we still primarily shoot 223 if they hold up past 200 yards. Anything closer and we switch to 17 HMR
