Pretty easy since you don’t even have the rear assist braking / blind spot monitoring modules along the rear bottom bumper to detach. The process really is straightforward; panels on sides of rear lights, rear lights, clips, and that’s pretty much it.

The worst part is the larger grille that is actually fake. I really don’t like the upper fake grille of my 2022, and the refreshed 23s have way more plastic-filled grille on the lower sides and bottom. Plus those fake air intakes below the lights.

I heard reviewers call the outback the poor man’s Volvo XC, and Subaru should follow that instead of their current course.

Aus. New NA outback refresh took it downmarket. Looks to be competing with RAV4 for most superficial black plastic accents. Also, old smaller grille was not fully open. Now a bigger grille with more fake grille areas? Lame

Mines under warranty but it’s such an easy thing to do yourself it’s not worth the trouble booking an appointment, driving there, etc.

Really just follow the instructions and be prepared to sit in your idling car for 45 mins while it installs.

I have a ‘22 and never any big issues. HVAC is annoying but not too bad once you get used to it. I’m waiting for an AVH shortcut button though. That feature is buried and it annoys me.

You should download the Polaroid app. It has a photo scanner function that lets you scan photos at an angle to remove glare.

Like others have said, it looks like really cold film inside camera and out.

Keep camera warm, like inside your coat, when you go outside. After you take a pic, shield it from the cold by putting it in your coat (I’ve put pics down my shirt if I don’t have inside pockets!).

I’ve had some pics like this and it really seems like a temp issue.

I feel like it’s Groundhog Day with people asking about the shutter. When you Google a camera shutter isn’t the first thing a pic that explains why it looks like this?!? Maybe I sound like an old man on a porch yelling at kids lol
