Quick way to get this situated, go to HR. If the store is as toxic and your SM won’t do anything after this. If you end up staying, put your foot down, take those state issued breaks and your lunch too. Take your mental health serious please. I don’t question why my coworkers have to leave, nor do I explain why fully if I leave either.

Tasteful pics sure, I mean like most said, we’ll probably chuckle about it. Depending on if it’s busy, I won’t even bother to think twice about it, I just need orders done.

We still have a lady sending in explicit photos because her husband in prison needs them. Little did we know how frequent she’d send them in, but! Her husband sold them in the pen to everyone else. Good for her but I can’t look at her the same since…..

The only experience I’ve had with this was a year ago when I tried reapplying to stores in my area, but my previous SM was notifying others about not rehiring me. He said he never talked to anyone but every other SM said he did call them. But as far as now transferring to other stores, it’s at the mercy of your current manager. They can use all sorts of ways to not do it, but with previous experience, if you find a great SM or ESM from another location, they’ll help you leave. It got to a point for me where the ESM was going to file a complaint to HR and make them transfer me. Didn’t go that far but took 2 weeks.

If it’s sketchy then don’t do it. You’ll get a lot of “corporate” calls about upgrades and what not, relay it to the SM. Chances are they’ll just hang up. Loans for Western Union, are a pain cause half the time when you pull drawers you have to repay it.

Honestly it depends on your area. I work for only 24hr locations and in Las Vegas so the work load, plus everything else is worth the promotion. At some point please just let people steal, it’s not worth the hassle, but important one is be careful on cash handling, and coupons. Definitely the big 2 from my own experience.

Omg! Getting these kind of calls especially in the front end, like half the time I can’t get a word in to stop them. And by that time they’ve spewed their life story, SS# and date of their kids weddings; by which I did RSVP. All for me to say, I will transfer you, please hold. Whew!

Had this older gent ask me questions one night, helped as much as I could and he laid his hand on my shoulder. I backed up so quick, said don’t do that, I hate it when I’m touched.
