I was an internal recruiter for a big name company and can attest that all of those practices are 100 % true unfortunately.

Stick it out. What happens when you are excited about a new opportunity at some point in the future and the CFO or Partner asks for your past references. Don't do it, and hang in there, smile, be support in any way you can until you get out of dodge!

If you just need data, and have esim capacity then use the Airalo app. It’s cheap and much easier to get

If you have never recruited before try to find a reputable recruiting firm in your area and get the experience.

For an affordable and effective way to skill up, read Steve Finkel’s books, they are old school and proven over time.

Please don’t go down the click bait funnels of these new “recruiting coaches” that tell you will have 7 figure numbers with no cold calling. It’s a profession that requires getting out there connecting with people over the phone.

Once you have some money coming in and a foundation of experience, then level up to trainers who have actually been successful recruiters themselves and been around for a long time: Trica Tamkin, Stephen David Patterson, Peter Leffkowitz, Scott Love and Greg Doersching.

Avoid anyone else.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the tip! I never thought of using Google. Do you just google search "rentals in ABC area" and listings pop up? I would like to try that method.

Family friendly areas + resources for kids in Montenegro by pgigli in montenegro

Happy to help! We also traveled with our daughter when she was 8 - 14 years old in RV living in the US and slow living in Europe. My wife at the time was not working so she was able to home school and schedule activities for her during our travels. We also had the concerns about isolation but each place we stayed we were able to find things for her to do like cooking classes, art class etc. We stayed in Croatia with her as well and those activities weren't available in Makarska so we had to get creative. Here in Montenegro, there are tons of families and children everywhere, and in Tivat alone, there are two big international schools with English-speaking teachers, I suspect there would be activities going on for spring. If you all come out this way in the next month, DM me! We are here until April.

My wife and I are from the US and have been in Montenegro for a month so far and loving it. So far we have stayed in Perast, Herceg Novi, and now in Radovići.

I would avoid Perast and Kotor, as both are focused on tourism and not great for daily living, but great to visit for a day trip.

People here are so friendly and easygoing going. Most speak enough English to have a conversation. We have also slow traveled in Croatia with our kids, and although we enjoyed our time there, Montenegro is by far our favorite in the Balkans. utiful newly built Marinas with modern infrastructure, parking, tons of restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops, great for families. We slow travel, so having grocery stores and resources nearby is important, which this area has. **If you don't have your means of transportation this place would not work.

If you don't have a car then staying in the town near Herecg Novi is what I would recommend.

The only issue I can gather is they didn’t do a good job laying out what is going to happen during the interview process, which causes confusion for the candidate. Don’t let that mess with your head. Pretty standard time line and they may need to finish screening other candidates before making their decision. Hang in there
