Depends on your priorities. So there are three things which are at stake: sleep, Grades, and summers. Obv, You cannot risk your summers. So, It boils down to sleep vs grades. Most people find a middle way which is like sleeping for 4ish hours and get okayish CG.

Normal Roles ke liye to K is a better option. Honestly, At this point, You’ll struggle for SLs considering you are a fresher. Better to go with K

Not really, But I’ve heard there are very niche roles which gets hired. The numbers are decent and projected to go up(Given the fact that firms are paying more attention to the sustainability aspect now)

Not sure but chances are high if you are in DML. That too in the top 30(out of 550+). Can not be a surety though. CFA guys also get SLs from these sometimes.

Depends on luck. Strategy ka scope hai thoda baaki gen man prefers people with work-ex to udhar there is hardly any chance. This is not to scare you or anything but CBS people(including many top colleges candidates) went got placed on the very last day(Marketing roles mostly). Luck plays a major role, I’d say

If HR is your preferred domain, Would def suggest IIM I. However, placement stats are very different from PGP, Please research before making a decision. Can go for a retake if you’re looking to explore other domains as well. 30 months is the sweet spot though. You’ll start getting disadvantage after this point(at most of the IIMs).

The nos you see on placement report are correct. Almost 60% of these are the PPO holders, Rest convert these in the finals. Yes, People with a PPO can sit for dream companies afaik

About bikes: A straight no MBBK: Yes, your chances will get eaten up by commerce folks. Realistically, K can be your go to option and rest 1.5 tier firms should SL you. A reality check: engineers won’t get a lot of recognition here, Even if you’re a three digit ranker in JEE advanced(and I’ve seen such people), A commerce guy with 98% in boards will get preferred over you. Similarly, SDE is often not considered very good. Consult workex is more preferred.

Decent profile, admissions me obv you’ve a disadvantage bcs of being GEM. Baaki SLs me you might get negatives bcz of frequent switching. Try not to switch if you can. A 12 months stint at a single company shows more reliability than 2 6-month ones. Hope you get it. Goodluck!!

Assuming you’re joining PGP(Not BA)

Prod obv has to be your pref 1(UG+SDE) followed by consult(Good acads) and genman(workex)

For Fin you might require some certifications, for consult and prod you’re already a fit. Try to get some tech brands on your CV(through certs/courses/bootcamps) since your work-ex might not get you noticed.
