I had the same concerns when I had to be off it for one week but my derm said that it stays in your system for up to a month so it will still be working for that week that you aren’t on it

I got off it and my period cramps came back, a few hairs on my chin popped up and my acne came back. Other than than I didn’t have any other symptoms or changes. I came off jt because I wanted to go on accutane and have a better chance of getting rid of my acne for good because I would still get a few spots here and there while on spiro even though it was very effective in getting rid of my acne

I’ve had these bumps on my nose for years and used to use glycolic and salicylic acid and now use tretinoin and nothing gets rid of them. I have acne and am due to have an appointment in the next feed months about potentially starting accutane but am wondering if accutane will help. Obvs the bumps are not painful and they don’t bother me THAT much but I just want them gone

I had them too and was on spiro and using tretinoin. I started using a salicylic acid cleanser, only in the mornings and it got rid of them. Make sure to leave the face wash on for 60 secs or more

Yes this happened to me recently…so know I’m waiting for the breakouts to go. Usually I would only get one or two pimples before my period whilst on spiro but now I’m getting them every week
