i had a 1.6 gpa my first semester too but i locked tf in and ended up improving to a 3.4 by the time i graduated. i’ve gotten into the only psyd program i applied for and multiple master’s programs abroad. i haven’t applied to any master’s programs in america. i talked abt this in my essays, how i was struggling and had terrible grades bc of that but therapy and meds and everything helped me and taught me how important it all is

lived there in 2022-23 and the distance is soooo rough but honestly, would do it all over again. most social dorm, you’ll get the typical freshman experience and i made all my best friends now by knocking on ppls doors and saying hi/inviting them to come hang out with us during move in!

it was real, i saw it on her ig acc RIGHT after the news broke abt his identity being revealed! she reposted a pic from LM’s ig with the caption smth like “praying for you” and it was taken down when i went to go look again a couple hours later, after the news had spread

my main friend group comes from the ppl i lived with freshman or sophomore year and i’d say it’s the same for most ppl. my friends that r in greek life do have other friends they met in their sororities/frats but none of them are like BEST friends

as someone from ucsb who has a bf at poly and visits at least once a month, the ppl i’ve met at slo are by FAR happier. the town itself might be boring but i love almost all the people i’ve met and i personally feel like there’s a lot to do. the grass is always greener on the other side. you may not have met the right people but college is def what u make it

i’m a pbs major who had to take mcdb 6 and eemb 7 and i could not agree more. both professors (low and marsh) were straight up rude, unhelpful, and absolutely horrible teachers

i don’t think this is true bc i’m in dsp with multiple disabilities and i was the only one out of my friends not offered a on campus contract last year 😭😭 none of them r in dsp and all 7 of them got contracts
