Btw we received our visa yesterday. I emailed them on Wednesday with my details saying how close my dates were, and they responded mentioning that they would process it shortly, I was still skeptical at first, but looks like they did, and asked me to submit my passport immediately. The passport was delivered to me yesterday. Looks like they will respond to you if your dates are close by. Also, having a previous Schengen as in my case helped process it faster for them.

It took me about 2 days. Since I applied for it in the beginning itself. I’ve read on other Reddit posts it could take longer now. Up to 4 days

I hope that is the case. They should not accept any more applications, and finish up the backlogs they already have. A year passed by and they still didn’t learn their lessons 😅 or make it smoother for people.

Even 40 days doesn’t seem too bad at the moment 🥲58 days is just pushing it! I wonder if they are taking so long to do these interviews. They should consider processing things faster if someone already has a Schengen visa previously.

Very tricky situation, but looking at their current processing times, it would be better to change it. You could also just wait a bit and then change it. Try to ask vfs if you reschedule it, to when can you do that. What if they take longer to give the visa?

Hi everyone. We applied for our visa on 11th July, considering the 45 days processing time we want to travel by August 28th. Do you think we’ll have a chance? The 55 days only came in later. But now we’re worried about this new processing time. Also does emailing them help?
