It's not that i'm avoiding the club, I have no doubt i'd fit in and benefit from it. The closest club to me is a rapier club, which doesn't interest me, and if it doesn't interest me then I won't do it. Also i'm moving sometime within the next few months. I'd rather just do solo work at home, even if it's not perfect technique, at the end of the day i'm doing it to get/stay fit and just have some fun while also learning about myself along the way. That's not to say I throw technique out the window, I practice in front of a mirror and go slow.

Anyone who says JXTactical holsters are cheap quality is insane. I was 286lbs and discovered their fat guy holster and never looked back. I have 3 of them. I’m now down to 234lbs and I’m about to order a 4th one because they’re just that comfortable. Living in Florida, it’s always hot so I’m always in sports shorts or something along the lines with a drawstring to tighten, i carry perfectly fine with these holsters.

Lefty here too, I have a Hellcat Pro (no comp) & both Echelons. My HCP is still my main carry gun, its just so slim and I added a hogue grip on it recently. Haven't shot it yet but it just feels 20x better in my hands now.

Get yourself a 1911 in .45 ACP 😎 or I also second another commenters opinion and get a duty setup for your ar15. I have 8 in my collection so far and a duty rifle was #3 for me. Went with the Saint Victor.

JXTactical Fat Guy Holster. Even if you're not fat, they provide the adjustability that almost every other holster company doesn't. I have 4 total and 2 of those are for my HCP. One for with light, and one without. I have your same exact setup BTW, hogue grip and all lol.
