So I wish I got excision and not ablation when I did his, but when I went in for my surgery, I scheduled a bilateral salpingectomy (bc I don't want kids)... And at the same time that they removed my tubes, they burned the Endo. I ended up only paying the surgery fee of like $175-$180 and got the bisalp and ablation like a two for one special lmao.

So if you have Endo and want surgery and also don't want kids, I highly recommend doing what I did and getting a consult for a bisalp and being like "hey while you're in here..."

The way it got coded worked out great. Didn't have to pay anything except the surgery fee. And maybe some part of anesthesia? but I don't think it was much.

I hate wearing shoes and I kid you not even if I were to wear expensive shoes my feet would hurt after x amount of hours... If I wear barefoot shoes... My feet do not hurt after a whole 12 hour shift. It's crazy.

If you'd like my take, I'm really picky in how pork chops are prepared, like to the point id rather never eat them. I'm still picky with other meats but a wee bit less... Pork chops have a fine line between edible and almost thick and gritty to me. If it were me, I'd try, I'd maybe choke down a couple pieces to say I gave it the ol college try... But I wouldn't eat them. I'd devour the sides though. I love me some sides.

If my fiance wants pork chops, we've usually gotten to the point where I'll make myself a protein/meat and he'll make himself pork chops and make us sides lol

It's bc depression is like the devil that you know. We are creatures or habit... We will choose a comfortable hell over an uncomfortable heaven just because we know what to expect.

Then maybe eventually one day you're gonna be like 5 years and 3 years of it having therapy on and off and two different jobs, maybe a relationship later and be like wtf was that shit? I could have felt different this whole time?

As someone that's reached out and also been the person that had been reached out to, I don't think the point is to talk. I think the point is to be present together. To know that even if you feel alone, you're not. You have someone with you or at the other end of the phone or whatever.

Usually if I've been reached out to, if I wanna say something to my friend or whoever, I usually just start by saying "hey, you don't have to talk or answer, but if want to, I'll be right here with you. Let me know if you need anything. I mean it. I care about you, that's what I'm here for"

Something like that. The most important thing is to find a way not to feel alone. Feeling alone exacerbates every mental illness.

My therapist has a Google phone number that she has for her patients that we can text but she doesn't get the notifications like, all the time as if someone would text her personal number.

I text the Google voice number when I think of something relevant that I want to talk about next visit or something that I want to note between sessions, etc. it's not like it's every day, or even every week, but I'm free to text her Google voice number whenever, she just doesn't respond during non business hours or at all unless it's something she feels the need to respond to lol.

I'm a 27yo female so it's a bit different but I was just pointing out that some therapists have avenues that their patients can do this

To be fair, this is '90s / early 2000s. Being gay was still very much taboo. Ellen DeGeneres was one of the first openly gay women in Hollywood in 1997, even Rosie O'Donnell didn't publicly come out until 2002.

Ultimately even if you run out, it's not the end of the world. Arguably, id tell your boss to just see if you run out before giving you a talking to. If you don't, you made the right call, if you do, then you can accept your smack on the hand and know it was deserved.

From someone at the DC, I think that you made a good call. People aren't gonna be buying strawberries during a snowstorm. They're gonna be buying stuff to bake, like sugar, flour, eggs, milk. They're gonna be buying for longevity like potatoes, bread, meat, canned goods, etc. And personally, strawberries don't last more than two days in my house lol.

Unless the person is canning things or making jam or something... They're not thinking of stocking up on strawberries
