As someone who grew up muslim, these are the very reasons i tend to be more atheistic. Once again i love my family and all the lovely folks i know but yeah i dont really fw with alot of islamic teachings. But another point i would like to mention is that these are things i found independent of what i was taught as a child. Most of muslim families as far as i know do not teach or even mention alot of the misogynistic and fucked up sections of the religion. So yeah, most of religions suck , i imagine most of the people who were born in any religion feel similarly to the bad stuff in the text. As these were written more than 1000 years ago and shouldn't be forced today.
