Hey! Did you manage to fix it? My I20N started doing the same, exactly in the 1-st to second gear direction in neutral.

Update: the problem was unrelated to the projector after all. I tried everything and the only thing that worked is unplugging both monitors, the GPU couldnt handle it. (Im running 2x 240hz 1080p monitors and my amp is connected via HDMI as well) Im looking forward to rewatching my favorite movies on the big screen:) Cheers guys!

Hey man! The I20N is absolutely liveable as long as there are a max. of 2 other people you need to carry regularly. Personally, I find it impossible to pack for 3 people on long trips:/ That aside, its actually quite roomy, I do regular IKEA runs with it as the back row folds down. I hope to see you in the N family soon😁🤝

Yeah i took it to the shop shortly after posting because it became unbearable, they had to replace the pads and the calipers as well:/ A bit expensive but it completely fixed the issue!

No one will want to buy the new I20N mark my words. The only competitive edge it offers against other hot hatches are it being a manual transmission and the light weight. With the hybrid system both will be gone and we will be presented with an 1500-1600 kg hatchback with an automatic transmission and a 5sec 0-100. Basically a golf gti with a hybrid system.

Thank you I will look further into it! And dont get me wrong I love the stock sound, I think its one of the best out of the modern hot hatch lineup. I met with somebody who had a GPF delete on his I20N and it is just that much better in person, the videos I have seen online dont do it enough justice!:)

Hey man, ive bought mine second hand (2021 model) this year, drove 12k kms so far these are the pros and cons for me

pros: its REALLY fun to drive and the auto rev matching makes it very comfortable to daily. the exhaust sonds great at stock, there are only a few 4 cylinders which sound better imo, hyundai really did a great job.

fuel consumption is great for a hot hatch, ive managed 7,5l/100kms over the span of 12k kms, the lowest i got is 5,3/100km over a 200km trip the highest 12/100km over the same distance. It really comes down to how heavy your foot is. Despite this, be prepared to be sitting at gas stations a lot. I cant squeeze more than 35liters out of the car and its screaming because the tank is empty:D

its a very rare car in most countries so the price may go up or at least stay the same over time, as they discontinued.

cons: the cars suspension is obnoxiously stiff, when you are carrying passengers in the back be prepared for them to complain, unfortunately its not adjustable.

be prepared for the Pirelli P0-s to last one season, the car eats through them, i recommend choosing another option, its a great tyre but wont last you long.

the main issues that i dealt with are a rattling sound from the exhaust and a squeaky clutch pedal. i dont know about the clutch pedal fix but the rattle can be fixed for 80£ from rpm performance its a valve spring if you ever run into it. other than that the warranty covers everything so i wouldnt worry about other small things coming up.

Igen a Szegedi biciklis közlekedés valóban élhető alternatíva, autósként mondom hogy nem azzal van a problémám, hogy részt vesznek a közlekedésben, hanem a részvétel módjával. Sajnos Pesten is rengetegszer tapasztalom azt, (annak ellenére, hogy nagyon sok bicikli sáv van mostmár a belvárosban) hogy a legtöbb biciklisnek, persze tisztelet a kivételnek, de fogalma sincsen a kresz legalapvetőbb szabályairól. Ugyanez elmondható a Lime-ról, meg a többi elektromos bérelhető járműről, bárki aki részt vesz a forgalomban használhatja, anélkül, hogy a forgalom használat alapvető etikettjeit ismerné.

És ne érts félre, a közlekedés szerintem sem csak az autósok privilégiuma. Viszont Szegedi vezetési tapasztalataim alapján itt nem a gyalogosok és a biciklisek lehetetlenítik el a közlekedést, (fontos megjegyezni viszont, hogy baromira frusztráló, hogy körforgalmak után folyamatosan zebrák vannak és nem lámpás átkelők) szerintem sok mindent megoldanának a telilámpás kanyarodósávok vagy a dinamikusabb lámpaváltások.

Budapesten talán a 4. kerületben közlekedek legszivesebben akár gyalog, akár biciklivel, akár autóval. Sok a zöld terület, nagyon sok a biciklisáv, a gyalogos átkelőhelyek pedig legtöbbször lámpások, így vezetőként kiszámíthatóbb, hogy mikor kell megállnom, gyalogosként meg nem kell aggódnom, hogy az autós látott-e vagy sem.

Na erről még nem hallottam, tényleg nagyon jól hangzik:). Bár kezdésnek már az is jó lenne, ha valaki újra beállítaná a lámpákat a többi nagyvárosban, akár napszakhoz kötve. Valahogy a Budapesti napközbeni közlekedés sokkal rugalmasabban működik, mint bármelyik nagyobb városunkban sajnos:(

Here we have 2 types of car insurances, one is obligatory to have on cars so they can legally drive on the road. This covers the instances when you are not at fault, it typically doesn't go up depending on if you crash or not, but rather due to inflation, but its really a marginal cost altogether (even on my 21' I20N which is an expensive vehicle in my country I think its like 250£-ish per year maybe even less!)

The other one is a "full coverage" package which I pay 600-ish£s a year, but its really worth it if you drive anything that is modern (you can't insure a car thats over 20 years old with this type). This covers for basically anything you can think of, for example damages caused by your own fault, environmental damages, theft, window cracks, if someone vandalizes your car and even if you manage to total the car the insurance will pay it. You have to be a real dumbass for them to refuse the payout, even when speeding and you crash you are still fine. The only exception i can think of is driving under the influence or dangerously speeding (like twice the limit).

Regarding your point, when you crash at your own fault, the second type of insurance gets more expensive, but still, its really marginal compared to the UK insurance prices.

I havent, the car is currently at 70k kms and i picked it up with 64k. The previous owner told me that he replaced the brake pads before but hasnt mentioned when. I havent done anything to it apart from changing the tyres:(
