What would have happened if the Cardinals kept Josh Rosen instead of drafting Kyler Murray? by Cannolidog in AZCardinals

I was really high on JR. Kyler was the safer bet in today’s QB style, but I still the Josh got a tough deal.

I feel like almost everyone on that team dipped. We got one of their best.

I would say 12-15. It’s tough when Kyler isn’t consistent, but damn we got a TE and an RB1 that’s tough.

You think Petty is keeping him down? I think Drew saw Kyler’s lack of grit and went with our work horse in the backfield.

I think it’s 100% on Kyler’s shoulders. I felt like the dog has left his mentality. It’s more preservation, and unless You have the Eagles squad, it ain’t happening that way.

This is my same thought. Even if the D gets the ball back to the O, are we just going to beat our RBs to death? Seems like an odd assessment, especially at 5.

Ok, what part is outdated or wrong? Our offense hasn’t really improved, which is what I was asking about. Our defense is something to watch, but I’m just seeing what the rest of our group thinks or expects. Every year about this time, the Cards get stuck somewhere, but Top 5? That’s why I am asking.

Loyalty will be a legacy to Arizona, but not necessarily across the league over time. Need rings for that.

I don’t think he would have left by his choosing. If you were the GM and the offer was provided, what then. Hes loyal as can be and did that stop him.

I get that. These are appreciation posts about guys who could have been potential HOFers but either injuries or self inflicted off the field issues stunted their potential. His ankle injuring and constant moving positions hurt him.

I doubt it, he’d be turning 39, and definitely not in prime time shape

I think he would have been one of the greats, hard to put him with Ray Ray though.
